Pertisau lies on the South Western bank of Lake Achensee and has some interesting cross country skiing trails.

Cross-country ski trail Falzthurn – Gramai in Pertisau
This area has a combination of expansive snowy fields, and impressive mountain scenery. The routes through the Gern Valley and into the Falzthurn Valley are especially pretty.
Falzthurn/Gramai – Intermediate, 13.9K, elevation 972m – 1261m
The entrance is at the cross country center in Pertisau. The trail leads through the forest to the Falzthurn Alms and then across expansive fields to the Gramaialm (serves food and drinks) at the end of the Falzthurn Valley.
Pertisau Village Trail – Beginners, 3.9K, elevation 906m – 974m
Perfect trail for beginners which leads across the fields in the center of Pertisau.
Cross Country Ski Races
The Achensee 3-Valleys-Run takes place at the end of February. The course is 14K or 28K free technique and 10K or 33K for classic. It leaves from Pertisau into the three Karwendel valleys – Falzthurntal, Gerntal and Dristenau. The Achensee 3-Valleys-Race is part of austria loppet.
