Home to Europe’s 3 highest mountains, the Aosta Valley is the heart of the alps, and within 2 hours of Geneva, Turin and Milan. Extensive cross country skiing is available throughout the Aosta Valley and there are plenty of easy well-groomed trails available.

There are 5 cross country areas in Valle d'Aosta with an array of choices to cross country ski. We are working on adding more of these in our next phase of updates.
Aosta E Grand Combin (orange)
A few kilometres from the region's capital Aosta, there are plenty of well-groomed, marked tracks. Night skiing in Saint-Nicolas and biathlon at Bionaz.
Gran Paradiso (lime green)
A Nordic skiing paradise with 80k of slopes, crossing woods, prairies and villages with breathtaking scenery.
Monte Bianco Mont Blanc (red)
Ski trails in the vicinity of Mont Blanc and its surrounding glaciers.
